Yatahay Poker Network Traffic Increases 150%

Yatahay Poker NetworkAt the end of January we reported that DoylesRoom (the online poker site of legend Doyle Brunson) had moved from the Cake Poker Network to the Yatahay Poker Network – a move which sent shockwaves throughout the poker community, particularly amongst the loyal DoylesRoom poker players.

Since the shock move the Yatahay Poker Network has seen an increase in the number of cash games on the site from a peak of around 100 players to a peak of around 250 players, marking a 150% increase. This also includes the players from BetCRIS and True Poker which are also on the Yatahay Poker Network. The network is currently ranked 38th on PokerScout’s traffic ranking, whereas the Cake Poker Network which DoylesRoom departed from is sitting stronger in position 26th, despite experiencing a decline in traffic.

The Cake Poker Network is made up of over 60 online poker rooms (including sites like Victory Poker, Unabomber Poker, Unleashed Poker, PowerPoker, and many others including Cake’s very own flagship site) and throughout January they had a peak number of cash game players of around 1,200 and 1,500 however as soon as it was announced that DoylesRoom would be moving to the Yatahay Poker Network, those figures dropped to around 950 players.

According to PokerScout the Cake Poker Network has had a 19% decrease in traffic in the last two weeks – a very sufficient amount! The fact that major sites such as Sportsbook Poker, Players Only Poker, and DoylesRoom have all left the Cake Poker Network in the last year is very worrying and it is clear they need to do something to compete with the other online poker sites and networks because just one year ago they were in the top ten of PokerScout’s traffic rankings.

When DoylesRoom first launched it was part of the Tribeca Poker Network but later moved to it’s very own network called the Doyle Brunson Poker Network (DBPN), then in 2025 it once again changed networks this time moving to the Microgaming Network. Then DoylesRoom joined the Cake Poker Network in 2025, a move which seemed to greatly benefit both parties, before moving to the Yatahay Poker Network last month. Whether DoylesRoom will find success on the Yatahay Poker Network remains to be seen, but they seem to want to be in control of things so maybe they have some exciting stuff lined up – or is the ship sinking fast for this online poker room?
