Thor Hansen Releases Autobiography
Norwegian poker player Thor Hansen has revealed that he has just had his autobiography published, a book which will talk about the whole of the 40 years that he has spent within the poker industry.
Nicknamed as the 'Godfather of Norwegian Poker', Thor has been recognised right across the globe as a high rolling poker player as well as being an active member of Team PokerStars Pro roster.
Hansen has won more than $2.7million in poker tournament cashes, including two World Series of Poker (WSOP) winners bracelets and the record that he holds for the player who has the most tournament cashes within PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker.
The pro revealed that the new book is more revealing than ever, focusing on his life as a professional gambler but the bad news is that although the book is already on sale, it is only available in Norwegian at the moment, the translations are due in the near future.
The book has been hotly tipped to become a very quick seller within the poker community as the PokerStars Blog revealed that the book offereda detailed insight into the world of high roller gambling, including tales of smuggling, murder, robbery, sex and addiction.
According to the blog, the site even touches on a number of events during the time in which Hansen has been playing the game of poker, drawing back on information from the biggest armed robbery to have ever taken place in Norway, known as the 'Drammen robbery' more than $1.5million was stolen from a bank.
