PokerStars Launch Home Games
PokerStars, the leading online poker room with over 42 million members, has rolled out a brand new feature in the form of Home Games. This essentially gives players the chance to set up private clubs and play home games together. The beauty of this new feature is that players can be in diverse locations around the world and yet meet friends, acquaintances or family in their own private clubs in order to have a great game of poker.
The Home Games option is unique in that it allows players to compete in ring games and tournaments, as well as choose from different poker variants. Players can determine their own stakes and manage their own private poker club. Friends can be invited to join via several mediums, including social networks such as Facebook and Twitter or through email.
The new Home Games feature was endorsed by Team PokerStars Pro, Daniel Negreanu who said: "Nothing like PokerStars Home Games has been offered online before and it's so easy to use."
"My favorite aspect of PokerStars Home Games is that fact that you can create your own club and customize it any way you want, just like you would in a home game with friends," he added. "I love playing mixed games, and the software allows you to choose from a wide variety of games to add to your club."
To set up a Home Games private poker club at PokerStars has been made exceptionally easy to accommodate all levels of players. Players simply click on the Home Games tab in the PokerStars software and then choose to 'Create a Poker Club' (if they want to be the club's manager) or 'Join a Poker Club' (should they have received an invitation to join).
After joining a club, members can check out the range of options open to them, including the option to customize their game parameters and schedule games, view the full range of poker games such as Hold 'em, Omah, Stud and Mixed Games, and invite friends to join the club.
