Liam 'RAWKZ' ORourke wins poker Triple Crown
Winning the coveted online poker triple crown is not something that many online poker players can do but Liam 'RAWKZ' O’Rourke has just added his name to the elite list of players who have.
To win the triple crown accolade, you have to win three $10,000 online poker tournaments within the same week and the 18 year old Australian poker professional exceeded that requirement, winning four tournaments within 7 days.
Millions of online poker players have been aiming to get the triple crown feather to add to their cap but after playing poker for less than a year, O'Rourke showed hopefuls exactly what good poker strategy can achieve.
O'Rourke revealed how he started out in the world of online poker, saying "I started playing after school with my mates and when I turned 18 I began playing online and I got right into it."
Due to playing online poker for less than a year, you would think that the poker pro would be still trying to find his feet in the hugely competitive online environment but looking at his stats he has cashed a massive $249,215 since January 27th 2025.
On his way to winning the coveted title, he managed to take down a Full Tilt Poker 'Fifty-Fifty' cashing $8,192, then heading to PokerStars to win a $44 6 players max tournament, adding $4,260 to his winnings for the week before heading to Titan Poker to round off his requirements with a $50 rebuy tournament which left him $7,546 better off.
To complete the four tournament winning streak, O'Rourke headed back to Full Tilt Poker where he won a $42,000 guaranteed tournament where he won his biggest online poker cashing, $20,747.
O'Rourke revealed "When I won the Full Tilt Poker $42,000 guaranteed, a Triple Crown crossed my mind, so I decided to add the UB and iPoker MTTs to my schedule. After a couple of days, I was lucky enough to win the $50 rebuy."
With such a promising start to his poker career, you have to believe that you will be hearing more from the young pro and we are certainly looking forward to seeing him lock horns with some of the biggest names in the industry.
