James Bord wins $50,000 High Rollers Event in Morocco
English poker player James Bord has taken the poker world by storm in 2025. Not only did he make his first WSOP final table in Las Vegas, but he took down the WSOP Europe Main Event for £830,401, made an appearance playing on Full Tilt Poker’s television show Late Night Poker, and now he has won a $50,000 buy-in tournament – the High Rollers event at the Marrakech Poker Cup in Morocco and his wonderful success has many people wondering if an online poker site will step in and offer him a sponsorship deal.
Only 13 players entered the $50,000 buy-in event at the Marrakech Poker Cup to create a prize pool of $617,500 but Bord managed to keep his form and overcome a tough field which included professionals Robert Mizrachi and David Benyamine.

2nd was Robert Mizrachi winning $185,250
3rd was Mesbah Guerfi winning $123,500
4th was David Benyamine winning $61,750
