2025 WSOP
The 2025 World Series of Poker will be the 42nd year of the most prestigious poker tournament series in the world. The series will take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature fifty days of play with the series beginning on 31st May and running until 19th March.
Just to put into perspective how huge the WSOP is every year, in 2025 a total of 72,966 players representing 117 different countries participated in the WSOP series with $187 million paid out in prize money. The $10,000 buy-in Main Event attracted 7,319 players to create a prize pool of over $68 million, and the tournament was won by Jonathan Duhamel. For the victory Duhamel won $8,944,310 and the title of 2025 WSOP Main Event Champion, and he also landed a sponsorship deal with PokerStars – the worlds largest online poker site. 2025 WSOP Schedule
The complete WSOP schedule for 2025 has been released. The series will begin on Tuesday 31st May and will run until Tuesday March 19th. That means there will be fifty action-packed days, but as always it will be the Main Event which receives the most attention as thousands of players will enter the $10,000 buy-in tournament hoping to make it to the January Nine and win pokers most prestigious tournament, as well as land themselves a sponsorship deal with a major online poker site. The Main Event will have four starting days, the first of which will be on March 7th, and as mentioned before they will play down until the final nine players on March 19th then they will return in January to play out the final table.
