Adam Levy Signs New Deal With UB.com

Adam “Roothlus” Levy In a recent announcement, UB.com have just re-signed Adam “Roothlus” Levy for two years. Levy wanted to continue the partnership which has proven to be very successful for both parties over the past two years.

Commenting on the extension of his UB.com sponsorship and what it means to him, Levy said:

“UB has been my home for the past two years and I’m looking forward to another two years with them,” Levy stated during the announcement. “They have really great tournament structures and schedules and I’m excited to see what other great changes are coming to the site.”

Adam “ROOTHLUS” Levy is a very accomplished player in the poker world. The 28 year-old has already amassed $1.5 million from live tournament earnings and over $3 million from online tournaments with his tournament results showing no signs of slowing down. The biggest result was a deep run in the 2010 WSOP Main Event, where Levy survived a massive field of 7,319-players to eventually exit in 12th place for $635,011.

While the live tournament results have been nothing short of spectacular, the online arena has proven to be hugely profitable for him as well. In the last year alone, Levy has cashed in 250 online tournaments, with several big results in major tournaments, including a runner-up finish in a 2009 FTOPS event.

As part of the UB.com sponsorship deal, Levy’s responsibilities will include continuing to host his weekly Pro Bounty Madness tournament on the site. Hosted every Sunday at 5:30pm ET, its a $60,000 guaranteed tournament. Knock out Levy you will win a seat to the $200k Guarantee.

The UB.com re-signing of Adam “Roothlus” Levy came just after the re-signing of fellow young gun Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin last month. Baldwin, who was the 2009 CardPlayer Magazine Player of the Year and a WSOP bracelet holder, extended his contract for an additional two years also.

The  departure of Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke meant UB Poker lost two big names who were seen to be the face of the company. However, UB.com wanted to fill the void by putting together a team of some of young and extremely aggressive poker players who online players can more easily associate with. Team UB continues to field some of the best poker professionals in the industry. Recently, Team UB added Prahlad Friedman to the squad, along with Brandon Cantu, Bryan Devonshire, “Hollywood” Dave Stann, Maria Ho, Joe Sebok, and Tiffany Michelle.
